About Us

PLUM is a unique Australian family owned business producing quality, designed baby and childrenswear. The business was established in 1965 by Bob and Nell Pepper, and run for many years by Rob Pepper, and is today owned and managed by Bob’s grandson Shane Pepper and his wife Eugenie, who with their 2 young children, Tommy and Chloe, fully understand the needs of today's parents.

PLUM has its own in-house design team with 3 designers with over 15 years’ experience each in the fashion business, designing prints, graphics, textiles, babywear and womenswear for major international brands, as well as being mums to 6 children between them.

PLUM aims to offer stylish, well designed, high quality, practical everyday fashion at realistic prices. In addition to the 'PLUM' brand 'PRECIOUS' is designed for newborn babies (size 0000-00) offering a more traditional, nostalgic collection with soft fabrics and colourations for a gentle start in life.

As well as babywear PLUM also offers a great range of pyjamas and baby sleep bags. In 2011 PLUM formed a partnership with SIDS & Kids to promote the safe sleeping message. Today PLUM donates a percentage of its profits from sleep bag sales to SIDS & kids, a cause which Shane and Eugenie strongly support personally.

PLUM is available in major department stores including David Jones, Baby Bunting and top boutiques Australia wide, as well as exporting to New Zealand, the UK and US.
